Saturday January 13 - 18+ Pre-Party Show

7:30 PM - Midnight // 18+ Pre-Party Show

Dress Code: Casual

Any time after 7:30 PM, you can present your EventBrite confirmation to the registration staff to pick up your lanyard and drink tickets.

Orbital & Apogee Access ticket holders gain access to the upper level VIP lounge during this fun night of music and entertainment!

  • 9:15 - 10:00 PM // Salt Fox - full band set

  • 10:15 - 11:45 PM // Everyday Astronaut - full band set

Sunday January 14 - All Ages Awards Show

Paramount Theatre: 713 Congress Ave, Austin, TX 78701

11:30 AM - 1:30 PM // VIP Meet-and-Greet

Dress Code: Casual to Business Casual

  • At any point between 11:30 - 1:30 pm, you can come to the Paramount Theatre to collect your tote bag and enjoy the VIP meet-and-greet!

  • Registration staff will direct you to the upstairs Houdini Lounge for your Meet-and-Greet experience where you’ll have the opportunity to mingle, take photos, and collect signatures from Tim Dodd and our special guests (Nominees, astronauts, and other space influencers).

  • At 1:00pm, we encourage you to take a lunch break in downtown Austin before the show begins! There is a great restaurant called Caroline that opens at 11:00 am, less than a block away.

2:30 PM // Theater doors open

  • Nominees will claim the front seats, but Apogee Access ticket holders will be seated in the rows just behind them. We recommend arriving early to secure your priority seating as the event is first-come-first-served!

3:00 - 5:00 PM // Astro Awards Ceremony

Dress Code: Casual to Business Casual

Your VIP Liaison, Nic Ansuini, or our Usher, Gene Gore, will ensure you get first-come-first-served access to your premier seating, behind the Nominees in the front row. We recommend arriving early to claim your seat before the theatre fills in.

  • 3:00 - 4:00 PM: Honorable Mentions

  • 4:00 - 4:40 PM: Awards

  • 4:40 - 5:00 PM: Panel Discussion

5:00 - 6:30 PM // Event End

  • During this time, attendees are encouraged to filter back out into the lobbies or upstairs lounge to visit the Firefly sponsor table, merch table, photo backdrops.

We are eager to welcome you to an intimate celebration during our Nominee Appreciation Dinner!

  • Upon arriving at Lamberts BBQ, make your way to the private space on the second floor. There, we’ll check you in (your name is on our limited guest list)

  • We encourage you to walk/Uber/Lyft to the restaurant, which is 0.5 miles away from the Paramount Theatre.

Once the Nominee Dinner concludes, you are welcome to join this General Admission After party for a fun night of live music and entertainment!

Be sure to hang on to your EventBrite ticket confirmation email. It contains an attached PDF, which serves as your ticket confirmation. Present this to the Registration Crew to collect your lanyard!

  • You’re welcome to register, pick up your lanyard, your two free drink tickets, and enjoy a fun evening of music and mingling!

  • All Apogee & Orbital Access ticket holders get access to the VIP lounge on the upper floor. Or, you’re welcome to enjoy mingling with the general audience on the first floor!

VIP Registration Opens at Paramount Theatre: 713 Congress Ave, Austin, TX 78701

  • If you’ve already registered the night before, you can simply approach the registration desk to pick up your tote bag! Then, head to the second floor “Houdini Lounge” for your Meet-and-Greet experience with Tim Dodd and our special guests (Nominees, astronauts, and space/science influencers)!

Transportation & Accommodation

Parking near our venues is limited. We encourage our guests to select accommodations in or near downtown Austin, so it is easy to walk or use Rideshare to access each venue.

If you do bring a vehicle to the Paramount Theatre on Sunday, you can park at the 600 Congress Parking Garage (entrance at 155 W 7th St). Present your parking ticket to the Paramount Staff in the lobby for validation.

There are many great AirBnb options you may want to choose from. But, if you prefer a nearby hotel, we recommend the following, which provide walking access to each venue: The Royal Sonesta hotel (attached to the Paramount Theatre), the Downtown Austin Aloft hotel, or the Hyatt Centric Congress Avenue Austin hotel.
