Saturday January 13 - Load-In at Vulcan Gas Company
5:00 - 7:30 PM // Load-In & Set-up
Starting at 5:00 PM, you can begin loading and setting up at Vulcan Gas Company.
Please supply any swag for the attendee tote bags to the registration crew.
The Firefly Sponsor table will be placed on the first floor near the venue entrance.

11:30 AM - 1:30 PM // VIP Meet-and-Greet
Dress Code: Business Casual
While you are not obligated to attend, we encourage our nominees and special guests to be present for our ~150 VIP ticket holders who are eager to meet and mingle with their space industry heroes. We'll have a professional photographer helping out with selfies and professional photos to keep the lines moving. We'll offer a signing table where people can get their posters signed.
Registration staff will direct you to the upstairs Houdini Lounge for your Meet-and-Greet experience.
At 1:30 pm, we'll close down the VIP operation and suggest a lunch break so people can eat downtown (on their own accord) before the show begins. There is a great restaurant called Caroline that opens at 11:00 am, less than a block away.
2:30 PM // Theater doors open
Front-row seats are reserved for our nominees. We recommend arriving early so you can get a quick training (from stage manager, MaryLiz) on how you’ll approach the stage, accept awards, and use the microphone at the podium during the show.
3:00 - 5:00 PM // Astro Awards Ceremony

4:40 - 5:00 PM: Panel Discussion with top 4 award winners!

After the ceremony ends, we encourage you to return to your hotel room at the Westin for a break/if you want to freshen up before our Nominee Appreciation dinner at 7:00 PM. We are encouraging everyone to walk or Uber/Lyft to the restaurant (info below).

We'll take the evening to honor you, our Awardees! A total of ~60 people will be present for a fun night of dinner and drinks. The guests will include 15 Apogee ticket holders as well as astronauts, some of the dearMoon crew, and other influencers. Plus, all of our Awardees!
Upon arriving at Lamberts BBQ, make your way to the private space on the second floor. There, we’ll check you in (your name is on our limited guest list)
We encourage you to walk/Uber/Lyft to the restaurant, which is 0.5 miles away from the Paramount Theatre.

You’re welcome to register, pick up your lanyard, your two free drink tickets, and enjoy a fun evening of music and mingling!
All Nominees get access to the VIP lounge on the upper floor. Or, you’re welcome to enjoy mingling with the general audience on the first floor!

VIP Registration Opens at Paramount Theatre: 713 Congress Ave, Austin, TX 78701
If you’ve already picked up your lanyard the night before, you can simply approach the registration desk to pick up your tote bag! Then, head to the second floor “Houdini Lounge” for your Meet-and-Greet experience with Tim Dodd and other nominees and special guests.
Load-In and Parking
At the Paramount Theatre, we have secured a parking permit to reserve spaces in the front of the building, just outside of the lobby doors. You are welcome to temporarily park here to un-load during setup times and again as we are un-loading on Sunday evening. We must be fully loaded out of the Paramount Theater by 9:00 PM on Sunday night.
Once you are done loading in at the Paramount, you can park at the 600 Congress Parking Garage (entrance at 155 W 7th St). Present your parking ticket to the Paramount Staff in the lobby for validation.
